Virginia Johnson started Debar in 1978 with the first registration, "Debar's Princess v.Reiteralm". Since then,we have bred  litters of high quality puppies.A couple notibles would be   "BIS AM/CAN  ROCHEL DEBAR ACE OF HEARTS" and  "BIS,BISS DEBAR'S SONG OF THE SOUTH ", National Specialty winner, and numerous championed dogs.

In 2005 Debar  became a family adventure with the addition of Virginia's son Jack and his wife Sue.  Debar has also expanded into German Shorthaired Pointers.  We are all very excited about this new adventure
